Curriculum

Curriculum Goals

The most important goal of our curriculum is to help children become enthusiastic learners. This means encouraging your child to be an active and creative explorer who isn’t afraid to try out their ideas and to think independently.  We’ll teach your child how to learn not just in our center, but all throughout their lives. Our philosophy is to allow children to learn at their own pace and in the ways that are best for them.

The activities we plan for your child, and the way we organize them, are designed to give your child a positive experience that sets them up for success.

At Juniper Hills Academy, we use the CDC’s Milestone Tracker app and encourage parents to do the same. The app offers helpful checklists and tips to track your child’s development from birth to five years of age. Downloading the app and keeping track of your child’s progress allows us to work together, as a team, to ensure your child is reaching their milestones both at home and at school.

We absolutely Love Juniper Hills! We switched over from another school about 8 months ago and the quality of instruction and administration we have experienced at the Juniper Hills has been exceptional. Our son has grown so much under Ms Amanda’s loving teaching and we really appreciate receiving daily pictures and updates of the activities. We are so happy to have found such a great school and fantastic teachers. Highly recommend.

– Barret B.

When my son had to miss a few days of school at JHA, I continued to feel disappointed that he was missing time engaging with and learning from his teachers and classmates. It was a reminder of just how much we love JHA. It’s been the perfect place for him to safely learn and grow while being cared for so well!
